After 12 ½ years of shepherding the clinicians of 3-C Family Services into a successful clinic, I have chosen to accept a buyout offer from my former business partner, reduce my personal stress, and set out on my own once again. Azevedo Family Psychology opened its doors on January 4th, 2016 and is located at 1903 N. Harrison Avenue, Suite 201, Cary, NC 27513.
Azevedo Family Psychology is dedicated to helping you understand life’s challenges, consider the options you have, learn the skills you need, and transform the challenge into a celebration. The focus of the practice will be similar to what I have been doing in Cary since 1991 – Marital therapy, individual therapy for adults and teens, family therapy, discernment counseling, collaborative divorce coaching, career coaching, executive coaching, executive team workshops, and public speaking engagements.
One addition you will see is the return of the Highlands Ability Battery and the Highlands Whole Person Technology for discovering the optimum career path for you. In my previous practice, I did not have enough time to dedicate to this incredibly powerful tool. I am delighted to return to it in this practice.
I have recently completed intensive training to provide Discernment Counseling to couples who are struggling to decide if they will dedicate themselves to short term, behaviorally based, goal focused marital therapy to save a stressed marriage or to resolve the conflict through divorce in the most peaceful manner possible.
